What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique that uses hypnosis to access the subconscious mind and facilitate positive changes. It involves guiding you into a state of relaxed focus, where we can work together to address various issues and achieve your goals.

Is Hypnosis Safe?

Yes, hypnosis is completely safe when conducted by a trained professional like myself. It’s a natural state that you experience daily, similar to daydreaming or being absorbed in a good book. You remain aware and in control throughout the session.

Will I Lose Control During Hypnosis?

No, you won’t lose control. Hypnosis is a state of focused attention where you’re always in charge. You cannot be made to do or say anything against your will.

What Can I Expect During a Hypnotherapy Session?

A typical session begins with a brief discussion about your goals. Then, I’ll guide you into a relaxed state using various techniques. While in this state, we’ll work on your specific issues using positive suggestions and visualizations. The session ends with a gentle return to full awareness.

How many sessions do I need to book?

Everyone is different. From my experience, We recommend a minimum of 3 sessions to start seeing long-lasting benefits. You can choose to do only 1 if you wish to without any obligation.

How Do I Prepare for a Hypnotherapy Session?

To get the most out of your session:

  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment
  • Eat a light meal beforehand
  • Wear comfortable clothing
  • Come with an open mind and a willingness to change

How often are the sessions?

I offer weekly sessions on pre-arranged times. Usually, we will have 1 hour every week. With some clients, I have done also more often or less frequently depending on their availability. This is something we can discuss.

Are You Qualified and Registered?

Yes, I am fully qualified and registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) and National Hypnotherapy Society (NHS).

I hold a distinction Hypnotherapy Diploma from The British Hypnosis Research and Training Institute. I regularly attend seminars and CPD courses to enhance my ethical standards and therapeutic skills, ensuring I provide the best possible care to my clients.

Do You Offer Online Sessions?

Yes, I offer online hypnotherapy sessions. These are just as effective as in-person sessions for most issues and provide added convenience and comfort for many clients.

Do you offer support ?

I offer e-mail and text support with all my clients Monday to Friday  from 10am to 8pm.

Can I get a free consultation ?

I offer to all my clients 30 minutes initial consultation to talk about their needs and how I can help them. This is always free of charge. There is no commitment after the consultation to continue with any session.

Do you offer refunds ?

We do not offer refunds for sessions that have already taken place. However if you wish to cancel your scheduled session we request that you cancel at least 48 hours before a scheduled session. This gives us the opportunity to fill the session. You may cancel by phone or online here. However, if you do not cancel prior to the 48 hours, you may lose the payment for the session.
